Privacy Policy

Who we are

This policy covers joinpbj.com, run by pb&j (“pb&j”, “we”, “us”) while we build the pb&j iPhone app. The app is not available yet; we will update this policy before it collects anything.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you join the early-access list or email us.
• Optional answers, if you choose to give them after signing up: the kind of videos you make, what you edit with, and your biggest editing frustration (free text, up to 1,000 characters).
• How you found us: campaign tags in the link you followed (UTM parameters) and the page you signed up on, saved with your signup.
• Website usage: pages visited, the site that referred you, and a random visitor ID stored in a cookie. This is not linked to you by name unless you give us your email.

How we use it

• To send beta invites and occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To understand who is interested in pb&j and what they need, so we can build the right app.
• To understand how people find this website, so we can improve it.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run this website: Cloudflare (hosting) and Supabase (database). [Add the email provider once beta emails are set up.] They only use your information to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law. [Add retention periods.]

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop sending you emails. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Children

pb&j is not intended for children under [13/16], and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
